David Lovejoy, author of the historical novels Heresy and Moral Victories, was born in London. He grew up in the grim post-war environment, studied English at Oxford University and thoroughly enjoyed the swinging sixties.
At the end of that decade he travelled overland to India and then island-hopped to Darwin. In the seventies he established meditation centres around Australia and New Zealand for the young guru Maharaji, and in the eighties he was co-founder of the Byron Shire Echo, a community newspaper in northern NSW. He is also the founder of the online news outlet Echo Net Daily.
David published a memoir Between Dark and Dark in 2005. He lives in Mullumbimby and collects cats and books. He can be contacted on firstname.lastname@example.org.
